What this site collects

Nothing is collected automatically for marketing or measurement. This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers, and it sets no cookies of its own.

The estimator on the home page works entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent anywhere as you move through it. When you ask it to email an estimate, it opens a message in your own mail client with the summary already written, and nothing leaves your device until you press send there.

The contact form works the same way: it composes a message for you to send yourself. We receive it as ordinary email, from your address, the moment you send it.

What we do with what you send

We read it and reply. Enquiries are used to answer your question, to scope and quote work, and to keep a record of what was discussed on a project. We do not sell them, rent them, or hand them to advertisers, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us.

Where a project goes ahead, the correspondence becomes part of the engagement record and is kept for as long as the commercial relationship and our tax and accounting obligations require. Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept while they may still be useful and then deleted.

Who else can see it

The people at Villaex Technologies working on your enquiry, and the services we use to run the business: email and calendar hosting, and the infrastructure this site runs on. They process the data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.

We disclose information beyond that only where the law requires it.

Hosting and server logs

This site is served from our own infrastructure behind a content delivery network. As with any web server, requests are logged: the address you asked for, your IP address, the time, and your browser's user agent. Those logs exist to keep the site up and to investigate abuse. They are not joined to anything else and are not used to build a profile of you.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and we will act on that request. If you are in the EU or the UK, the GDPR gives you those rights explicitly, along with the right to complain to your data protection authority; we honour the same requests wherever you are.

Write to the address below and say what you would like done. We do not require a particular form of words.

Children

This site is for business enquiries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be described in the text rather than folded in silently.
